The bacteria in bacteria plaque formed in your mouth can create acid from remains of sweets and flour products. These acids dissolve mineral structure on teeth, damaging enamel and eventually causing tooth decay, which creates what dentists call a cavity.
For long years, tooth decay was considered to be a disease with unknown reasons, but know that it is “a disease with many causes”. There are primary factors causing a cavity:
- Bacteria plaque (also called a dental plaque)
- Carbohydrate food (such as sugar, flour, etc.)
- Idiosyncratic factors (tooth structure, saliva, composition, etc.)
If any of the factors above are changed, a person with a well-balanced mouth health will face a cavity.
